At 3Dthinks, we’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to create a more accessible, inclusive, and connected world. As we develop groundbreaking solutions in the field of 3D printing and smart sensors, we are looking for talented individuals to join our team and contribute to our innovative projects. We are excited to announce that we’re currently hiring a Researcher in Non-Intrusive Sensors and Software to work on our latest venture, TalX, an inclusive messaging app that aims to revolutionize communication while also advancing health and wellness.
About 3Dthinks and TalX
At 3Dthinks, we focus on harnessing advanced technology to improve people’s lives. One of our key projects is TalX, an inclusive messaging application designed to make communication more accessible to everyone. But we’re taking it a step further. As part of TalX, we’re working on integrating non-intrusive sensors to measure vital signs while users interact with the app. This technology will allow us to monitor key health indicators seamlessly and enhance the overall user experience.
This unique combination of health tech and communication tools requires a specialist with expertise in both sensor technology and software development. That’s where you come in.
Who Are We Looking For?
We’re searching for a PhD-level researcher with a background in Mathematics, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related fields. The ideal candidate will have experience developing non-intrusive sensors for the measurement of vital signs, as well as strong skills in software development and programming. You’ll be working directly on TalX, helping to create cutting-edge technology that enables real-time, non-intrusive monitoring of health data, improving both communication and well-being.
Your Role at 3Dthinks
As a Researcher in Non-Intrusive Sensors and Software, your primary responsibility will be the development and implementation of sensor technology. This includes building software to process and analyze the data collected from these sensors, ensuring accurate and reliable monitoring of vital signs. You’ll also have the chance to work on exciting R&D initiatives, such as 3D printing technology and the design of electronic boards.
Collaboration will be key. You’ll be coordinating projects with top technological centers and universities, including the UPC and the University of Barcelona, while working alongside a diverse and international team. We value creativity, autonomy, and teamwork, making this a fantastic opportunity to thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- PhD in Mathematics, Biotechnology, or related fields
- Experience in non-intrusive sensor development for vital sign measurement
- Strong background in software development and programming
- Previous experience in high-tech environments
- Fluency in English and Spanish (knowledge of Catalan is a plus)
- Familiarity with 3D printing and the design of electronic boards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Social and intercultural skills, with experience working in international groups
Why Work With Us?
